With increased focus on the comfort, health and care of man’s best friend, K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel, the award-winning dog daycare and luxury boarding facility franchise for dogs, is celebrating its 10th year in operation. To mark the occasion, K9 Resorts is opening the doors to their brand new, state-of-the-art pet care facility. This facility will almost double the size of their current Fanwood location from 4,000 to over 7,000 square feet. K9’s Fanwood location is the original location and serves as the flagship for the brand.
To commemorate the occasion, a grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., including a ribbon cutting ceremony with Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr. The celebration will feature an open house, guided tours of the newly built facility and refreshments for community members.
K9 Resorts is currently the No. 1 rated boarding facility in New Jersey and rated in the top 3 in the country. “We’re excited to let the community tour what promises to be the most luxurious and state-of-the-art pet care facility on the East Coast,” said K9 Resorts Co-Founder & CEO Steven Parker. “We’ve worked very hard to establish K9 Resorts’ reputation as an award-winning facility, and look forward to what the next ten years will bring.”
K9 Resorts leveraged its founders’ 16 years of experience in the pet care industry into an impressive track record of customer service and pet pampering. The brand recently partnered with the Westfield Veterinary Group as the pet care provider’s pet care facility of choice. K9 Resorts’ cage-free dog daycare programs allow vet-recommended social interaction with other dogs, and K9 Resorts utilizes hospital-grade sanitizing methods and include a specially designed ventilation system to provide the cleanest and freshest air possible.
In addition, all K9 Resorts staff members are independently trained and certified by multiple organizations including Robin Bennett, the leading dog daycare expert in the country.
K9 Resorts has a reputation for world class quality service for both customers and pets, which has garnered the brand consistent praise from multiple major publications as New Jersey’s top choice in pet care, including honors by New Jersey Monthly Magazine and The Courier News, for the state’s Best Pet Service the last four years in a row. The brand was also rated in the top three boarding facilities in the country by leading pet website iheartdogs.com.
Now, the brand’s founders have their sights set outside the Garden State, with plans to open five new locations in 2015, including locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The additional locations will bring K9 Resorts to a total of ten locations by the end of the year.
“There’s an immense amount of development potential in the pet services industry,” said Jason Parker, K9 Resorts Co-Founder with his brother Steven. “We hope to capitalize on this accelerated market growth by continuing K9’s expansion with our proven model and established reputation as the premier facility for the past 10 years.”
ABOUT K9 RESORTS DAYCARE & LUXURY HOTEL
K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel is a three-time award winner for IBPSA, number 1 rated pet care facility. K9 Resorts has been rated number 1 by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Courier News, Suburban Essex and Monmouth Health & Life Magazine. K9 Resorts was founded in 2005 by brothers Steven and Jason Parker in Fanwood, N.J. When in their early teens, their parents denied them a dog of their own, so the entrepreneurial pair opened a professional pet-sitting business to prove they were not only willing, but ready to care for a dog. That business not only became a highly profitable enterprise that they sold for a six-figure sum in 2006, that revenue became the expansion fuel for their burgeoning K9 Resorts business. The business, which is the only facility in New Jersey to have been rated number 1 by multiple major publications, is a luxury pet care franchise with locations throughout the East Coast of the U.S. K9 Resorts has been featured on Fox News, CNN, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes.
